Banana splits are crafted five different ways at the Bowl. Locals love the Desireme Banana split. Fresh bananas are paired with vanilla ice cream smothered in chocolate marshmallow sauce and strawberry ice cream topped with red ripe strawberries, whipped cream and a cherry. A “do it yourself” split is also available for those who like to call their own shots (or flavors).

The Sugar Bowl has often been depicted in the background of many of the famous Family Circus cartoons created by beloved Arizona artist and Pleasant Valley resident Bill Keane.
